Privacy Notice — Public pages

Version 1.0 · 11 October 2026

This notice covers our availability page and public HTML, webpage and CSS reference pages. Account, purchase and learning services have a separate privacy notice within the app.

1. Visiting these pages

Our server receives your IP address and records the requested page, request time and technical response details to operate and protect the website. We also use your IP address to determine an approximate country for availability restrictions; this lookup takes place on our server.

These public pages do not set analytics or advertising cookies, store tracking identifiers in your browser, or send feature-click analytics. Technical access logs are normally retained for about two weeks. Relevant records may be kept longer when needed to investigate an incident or deal with a legal claim.

2. Contacting us

If you email us, we use your email address, message and any attachments to answer your enquiry. We review enquiries monthly and delete routine correspondence after 12 months from resolution. Records needed for legal obligations or a dispute may be retained longer.

3. Why we use information and who receives it

Our legitimate interests are operating and protecting the website and answering routine enquiries. Where applicable, we also process information to take steps you request before a contract or to meet legal obligations. Providing an email address and message is necessary for us to answer an email enquiry.

We use AWS for website hosting and Google Workspace for email. Providers may process information outside the EEA using safeguards such as European Commission adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses. Details are available from AWS and Google Workspace; you may also contact us about these safeguards.

Following a link to another website is subject to that website's privacy practices.

4. Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a portable copy of your personal information, where applicable, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email us to exercise these rights. We may need to verify your identity and normally respond within one month.

You can complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority or another competent supervisory authority.

5. Who is responsible for your information
